Last night it occurred to me that in just six months I’ll be in Mexico. It’s seemed a long way off until now. All that’s left to arrange is my ticket. Next month I’m going to attend an outgoing scholars’ orientation day and give a speech to my host club.

My name is Louisa Dow. I kept this blog for the benefit of the Rotarians of the Glen Waverley Club in District 9810, who generously supported my trip to Mexico in 2007. In August 2008 I will begin graduate studies in international development policy as a Rotary World Peace Fellow at Duke University in North Carolina. I might keep it up, I might not... it depends on the workload!
